Chive Blossom Compound Butter

Chive blossom compound butter is my culinary secret weapon! Spread it on bread, pair it with fish, bake it into scones, or use it to elevate grilled vegetables and potatoes. 

INGREDIENT  LIST  ? Egg  ? Tomatoes  ? Butter  ? Shallot  ? Fresh herb  ? Seasoning

Bring the butter to room temperature until softened.

Use kitchen scissors to snip off the tiny flower ends

Add the chopped blossoms to the softened butter and combine.

Scoop the compound chive butter into ice cube tray and chill.

Serve with crusty bread!

Melt it into mushed potatoes 

 Serve over roasted vegetables
