Colorful and Flavorful Borsch

Look at the vibrant and appetizing color of this borsch soup! Beets,  carrots, cabbage, and tomatoes are stewed in a rich beef broth.

GROCERY LIST 

Dice the onions, julienne the carrots and beets, and shred the cabbage.

In a heavy bottom soup pot, heat the butter or oil and sauté vegetables one after the other.

Add the broth to the pot and let it come to boil.

Nestle the potatoes and tomatoes. Bring to boil and cook until potatoes are done.
