Armenian Summer Tolma

🍽️ Discover the rich flavors of Armenian Tolma:  🍅🫑🍆 Vegetables Stuffed  with 🥩 Meat, 🍚 Rice,  and 🌿 Herbs!

INGREDIENT  LIST 🥩 Beef  🧅 Onion  🍚 Rice  🌿 Parsley  🌱 Purple Basil   🧂 Seasoning  🥬 Cabbage 🍆 Eggplant  🫑 Peppers  🍅 Tomatoes 

Making meat mixture

1 |

• Combine ground beef, finely chopped onions, parsley, basil and rice.  • Mix all together 

Prepare the vegetables

• Wash the vegetables • Remove the cores • Season with salt

Prep tomatoes, peppers

• Cut the top, take the seeds out from peppers • Core the tomatoes • Keep the top intact

Prep the eggplants

• Peel eggplant in stripes • Carve out the seeds and set aside

Prep the cabbage

• Blanch the cabbage leaves for 5-10 minutes  • Remove, drain, let cool

Stuff the vegetables

• Fill the vegetables with the meat filling • Secure the filling by placing the tops back on 

Making cabbage rolls

7 |

• Put a spoonful of meat filling on top of the leaf • Tuck in and fold into cylindrical rolls

Cooking tolma

8 |

• Arrange the stuffed  cabbage, eggplant, pepper and tomatoes • Add water and cook
