Portobello Mushrooms

These smoked portobello mushrooms are an excellent whole-ingredient meatless alternative that takes very little time to prepare.

INGREDIENT  LIST • Portobello mushroomս • Black pepper  • Salt • Balsamic vinegar • Thyme • Wood chips SPECIAL TOOLS • Outdoor grill • Broiler pan

Preparing mushrooms

• Wash, clean the mushrooms •Give the stem a fresh •Place gills side down to dry

Marinating mushrooms

• Season with smoked paprika and salt • Drizzle with balsamic vinegar •Sprinkle with thyme leaves

• Soak the wood chips • Line the broiler pan with foil and scatter wood chips over it

Smoking mushrooms

• Place the broiling pan on the preheated grill • Place the mushrooms on the broiler pan and cover the lid

Serving mushrooms

• Serve as a main dish with a side of other vegetables •Serve on a burger bun
